"ONLY WATCH 2011" - More images of the MB&F HM No.4 Panda  0 Comments

I first reported about the HM4 nearly a year ago and back then the watch had made a dramatic impact on the watch collecting world. The watch continues to charm me whenever I photograph it. This time round with a miniature panda designed by the artist Huang Hankang.

As the panda sits precariously on the edge of the watch, I cannot help but to think that the poor panda do face a risk of being knocked off its perch in a moment of carelessness. But then, as an object of art the Panda would unlike find itself out regularly in light of day. The panda can be and will probably bet dismounted from its podracer carriage.

Nevertheless, here it how this dramatic watch looks like on the wrist - as shown by Max Busser himself. Its unmistakeably HM4 but the panda is still quite visible (click on it to see a sharper image).

The panda on the HM4 seems almost like a playful toy appendage for the owner. However, considering that this ONLY WATCH auction is in aid of children suffering from muscular dystrophy, it will be a poignant reminder for the new owner and also a strong positive conversation point. Here is the image in its full glory.

Watch for the desktop wallpaper of this watch in the next blogpost.
