DeBethune DBM - the modern pocket watch?  1 Comments

DeBethune launched the DBM at Basel 2011 - a ultra thin pocket watch encased in a leather bound case for the iPhone 4. The hand wound 6 day pocket watch is a simple two handed watch with a hand guilloched dial but exudes all the expected top quality finishing. The case itself is made of hand finished alligator leather. Priced at a point only the financially well endowed need enquire. The concept of such a piece could spark a lot of copycat cases - as with all things connected to iPhone. CLICK on the image below to view it in full resolution.

The DBM above was photographed at a small dinner party with Mr Pierre Jacques the new CEO of DeBethune and Mr Alsessandro Zanneta (Sales Director) who are travelling around the globe visiting their authorised dealers with the new watches. Before the dinner itself, I was able to photograph the new DB28T and DB25QP. Images of these wonderful pieces as well as the dinner party will follow soon.

Meanwhile, here is an image of Mr Jacques CEO DeBethune using his iPhone with the new DBM cover.
