Unique Piece Lange Zeitwerk up for auction for Charity  0 Comments

Lange & Sohne made a Zeitwerk piece unique for the coming Kidz Horizon Appeal for Chronically Ill Children. The grey dial watch features white arabic numerals on grey background discs.

The annual fund raising is in aid of children suffering from cancer and HIV. The beneficiaries of this fund are the families who are unable to afford the medical care. This watch is called by the organisers as "The Duncan Watch" after the recently departed Mr Duncan Wang (2009). Duncan was a personal friend and an early supporter of my blog who lent me many of his wonderful watches featured here. Duncan had been a strong supporter of the Kidz Horizon Appeal as well as a generous buyer of charity time pieces (for more information about Mr Wang and the Charity - CLICK HERE).

This year's themed costume charity ball for the Kidz Horizon Appeal will once again be held at the 100-table Ritz Carlton Ballroom on August 27th. And the theme for 2011? A Night at the Riviera!
