Omega Speedmaster Commemorative 50th Anniversary  0 Comments

I recently photographed a gentleman's collection of these two newly released commemorative watches of the famous timepiece that was worn on the moon. I am a fan of the original Speedmaster and its history. I was sceptical of this new commemorative until I saw it in the metal. While the patch model (the crested model) has the same dial material as the standard, the 50th Anniversary's dial is made of beautifully finished enamel. The movement is also beautifully finished with an exhibition back. This watch comes in a huge and beautifully finished wooden box filled with tools a loupe and spares.
Click the images above to see the large versions. Detailed images will be featured later after they are published in local watch magazines.
