One of the most stunning watches that was released last year was the Hublot Big Bang - especially in the pink gold version. The watch is clearly an imaginative attempt to fuse several new age materials into a new design. Having tried it on the wrist, it does feel both substantial and impressively made. Unfortunately some detractors lament at the design's resemblance to the AP Royal Oak Offshore's bezel rivets as well as the contrast between black bezel and other metals for the case. But despite such issues, the watch won the Sports Professional category for the Watch of the Year 2005 in Japan. The watch also earlier won the award for “Best Design 2005” at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de la Ville de Genève. This watch will bring Hublot once again to the forefront for customers looking for dynamic sports watches.
